Jersey Church Hands Out $30,000 in ‘Reverse Offering’
Instead of passing the plate for parishioners to fill with greenbacks, one church is handing out over $30,000 to members in what it’s calling a “reverse offering.”
Liquid Church in New Jersey is giving away plenty of Benjamins to churchgoers this Sunday morning. Each person will receive an envelope with the words “God Trusts You!” And that envelope will be filled with $10, $20 and $50 bills. Tim Lucas, lead pastor of the 2,000-member church, is currently preaching a four-part sermon series teaching biblical principles of finance regarding debt and living on budget – the press center of Сhurch of the New Testament with the website to CharismaNews. Missionary Attacked with Swords

History of the Band Salvation
We have heard so many things about this band, but the real story of its origin was a bit of a mystery. We decided to surprise Salvation’s fans by providing the history of this remarkable team.
The band formed under unusual circumstances in Brest, district of Vulka, Belarus, in December 1989. It was a year of “Perestroika,” a time of freedom, but with this freedom came a “vacuum.” During the Soviet era, many ideas, particularly those related to God, were not mentioned. Even in the churches during that time, fresh ideas were very few. The future Salvation band members, however, were united by the fact that they were young believers who had just become Christians.
They became friends who shared more than music, and it changed their lifestyle. They began to talk about God and to study the Bible, trying to find answers to many questions about the meaning of life. They participated in a youth group of the COEF church, and they prayed together. Continue reading

9/11 Freedom Rally Invites Effective Fervent Prayer Warriors
Despite New York City Mayor Bloomberg’s staunch stance on prayer at the 9/11 memorial, the effective fervent prayers of the righteous will be heard anyway.
American Freedom Defense Initiative is hosting its second annual 9/11 Freedom Rally on Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. at Park Place and West Broadway.
While clergy, 9/11 first responders and 9/11 family members are barred or otherwise not invited to the official ceremonies, AFDI says all are welcome at its 9/11 Freedom Rally. And while White House guidelines forbid official 9/11 ceremonies from mentioning who attacked the U.S. on that day or why, the 9/11 Freedom Rally promises more honest speakers- the press center of Сhurch of the New Testament with the website to www.charismamag.com Continue reading
